Rope Access Odd Jobs

With several decades of technical rock climbing and ropes experience under our belts, we’ve become the “go-to” guys for many of our customers when it comes to replacing weather-vanes, maintaining church steeples, removing bird’s nests, painting roofs, rescuing cats from trees, and one hundred other strange and unusual odd-jobs that involve high places and tricky access.

Each season we clean gutters, install lightning rods and weather vanes, do touch up painting, replace the occasional trim board, change light bulbs, wash a skylight, sweep pine needles off roofs, remove old television antennas, cut tree limbs, and paint roofs. With our ropes skills we are able to do these tasks very safely and also efficiently—as opposed to setting up cumbersome staging or renting pricey man-lifts.

Given the frequency with which customers approach us with various tasks, our Board voted to make this a formal part of our business. And now, we can legitimately claim the much coveted title of “Pro-Climbers." If you think you've got an odd-job involving difficult access, just ask us, we're usually up for the challenge!

Wedding Blessings

In the late 18th century, King George’s horse spooked and his carriage careened out of control down the cobblestone streets of London. Perchance, a humble chimney sweep intervened in the unfolding tragedy and saved the King’s life by grabbing hold of the horse.

Thereafter, the King announced that chimney sweeps were bearers of good fortune. The lowly sweep began to wear the now iconic top hat, a symbol of higher status in society. Soon chimney sweeps began to appear at weddings, blessing the couples by shaking the hand of the groom and kissing the bride on the cheek.

Quddus is occasionally available to perform this service for a special couple. If you are interested in having a chimney sweep bless your wedding, please get in touch with us.
